Proposed Changes in Water Rights

We often assist water systems with their water right difficulties.  This may mean finding new water rights, reclassifying your existing water rights, finding ways to make your existing water right stretch further, or tracking down and discovering what your water rights are.

Obtaining New Water Rights

The legislature recently passed new rules making it easier to obtaining new water rights.  We can conduct the initial steps of the investigation for much less than the firms approved by Ecology to actually process the application.  By preparing the path and coordinating all the necessary parties, we see your application through the process with minimal cost and time.

Reclassifying Your Water Rights

Sometimes a water right was “perfected” (turned into a certificate) prematurely, or based upon faulty information.  In these cases it is often possible to reclassify your water rights back to the permit stage with more water rights available.
