Cross Connection Control Devices

Our engineering staff includes cross connection control specialists and Backflow assembly testers

We therefore not only have the technical expertise of the hydraulics, fittings, and installation requirements, we also have a fundamental understanding of the importance of accessibility and maintainability over the life of the equipment.

Our engineers understand that Backflow Devices need to be tested annually and regularly maintained.

We also take the initiative to provide the simplest solution possible.  For example, we were contacted by the Trophy Lake Golf Course to design a four-inch reduced pressure backflow assembly (RPBA).  Rather than simply fulfilling the request, we took a comprehensive look at the water system.  The device was required to protect the water system from backflow from an irrigation pond.

We worked with the regulatory agency to accept an air-gap in place of the RPBA.  We then completed a very simple and inexpensive design, for an even more simple and inexpensive installation.  The golf course staff extended the pond inlet as designed at a cost of less than a hundred dollars in place of a several thousand dollar RPBA installation.
