About Us

Northwest Water Systems was incorporated in 1981 managing only the customers on the water systems originally owned by the corporation. By 1997 NWS had divested itself of all its water system assets, and shifted its strategy exclusively towards the management of small, medium and large water systems. To lead this new strategic orientation Reg Hearn was brought onto the staff as the President. His efforts built the system management portfolio from four sample only contracts to the ongoing management of over 300 group B water systems, and over 130 group A water systems. In 2003 Todd Krause was brought on as an EIT, earned his Professional Engineer Certification, and has been successfully leading the engineering division at Northwest Water since.

In 2009 Jon Wiley was brought on as President and CEO, as Reg Hearn shifted to a new position as the Vice President of Business Development. Reinvigorated with energy, the expanded management team looks to provide constantly improving service to its existing clientele, as community outreach oriented education programs are rolled out. While a more robust education program is introduced, the NWS Southwest Washington office is being brought online.

“NWS has what you need. They get it!

We have been extremely satisfied customers of NWS for well over ten years.  They understand completely the complex business of drilling and operating a community water system.  Before they got involved we experienced one headache after another.  So many things can derail your effort.  The peace of mind we enjoy now is well worth frankly, their minimal monthly charges.

Our community of eight has owned our system for over 35 years.  We learned the hard way you cannot take water for granted and need to do things right.  You’ll get exactly that with these guys.  Things do go wrong, governments are involved, equipment wears out, rules change, etc.; but you need dependable trouble free water.  NWS knows the local water community very well (no pun intended).  We have watched them grow from a single man operation into a very professional outfit.  They are the kind of vendor any customer cherishes.

Our system and experiences are open for inspection by any customer or prospect of NWS anytime. They deserve to take a low bow.”
